THAT Council receive and approve the 2024 Second Quarter Report for the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) Barry's Bay Drinking Water System and Wastewater System as presented.

THAT Council approve the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) expenditure requests as presented in the total amount of $33,485.58, work order numbers: 3899841, 3903877, 4000486, 4050851, 4093169, 3899840.

THAT the meeting recess at 11:08 a.m. and return at 11:15 a.m.

THAT Council in Committee recommend to Council to promote Michael Hubers to the position of Captain for the North Fire Hall.

THAT Council in Committee recommend to Council to approve staff to apply for funding with Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund and direct the application to include upgrades and accessibility requirements to the change rooms, public washrooms and doors at the PJYCC facilities.

THAT Council in Committee recommend to Council to approve the Manager of Planning and Development's recommendation to appoint David Montrose as an alternate Septic System Inspector for the Corporation of the Township of Madawaska Valley; and THAT an appointment By-law be brought forward for approval.

THAT Council in Committee recommend Council accept the Blue Box Transition Ad-Hoc Committee's recommendation to approve retaining the services of Greenview Environmental Management to assist as outlined in P24-0822 Proposal.

THAT the Regular Council Meeting Minutes for August 27, 2024 be approved as presented.

THAT the Special Council Meeting Minutes for August 23, 2024 be approved as presented.

THAT By-law 2024-69 Being a By-law to Confirm the Proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Madawaska Valley at the Council in Committee Meeting of September 4, 2024 be read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 4th day of September 2024.
