Development and Property Committee Meeting

THAT the Development and Property Committee Meeting Agenda for Wednesday, December 16, 2015 be approved as amended.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Development and Property Committee recommend Council approve Severance Application File Number B115/15, be approved as applied for, as a seasonal residential (cottage) lot, subject to the following conditions: a) That drainage issues and related grading issues affecting the lot to be severed be addressed by a qualified professional (engineer), and the provisions for an easement be established; and b) That the lot to be severed be re-zoned to Limited Service Residential (LSR).

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Development and Property Committee recommend that Council approve Severance Application B120/15, for right-of- way purposes.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Development and Property Committee recommend that Council approve Severance Application B112/15, as a lot addition, subject to an Agreement being registered on title in accordance with Sections 53(12) and 51(26) of the Planning Act, indicating that the lands to be severed and Lot 12, Registered Plan 596 will be conveyed as one parcel in all future transactions and that the agreement is to be registered on title to the subject lands.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Development and Property Committee recommend Council direct staff to respond through the public information feedback form, noting items identified and discussed regarding the disposition of surplus school property.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Development and Property Committee recommend that the Finance and Administration Committee consider Project No. 2016-ECDEV-01 during budget deliberations (Madawaska Valley Website Updates).

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Development and Property Committee recommend that the Finance and Administration Committee consider Project No. 2016-ECDEV-02 during budget deliberations (Business Breakfasts)

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Development and Property Committee recommend that the Finance and Administration Committee consider Project No. 2016-ECDEV-03 during budget deliberations (Madawaska Valley Short Video).

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Development and Property Committee recommend to Council to review the quote from Zuracon Construction for $2750.00 (plus HST) in regards to replacing the old siding with new siding on the front of the Combermere Community Centre and direct staff to respond to the quote.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Development and Property Committee recommend Council approve an engineer examine the Combermere Community Centre exterior block for cracks and provide a report, AND THAT the block exterior be repaired as per engineer report.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Development and Property Committee recommend Council approve that Mayor Love and the CAO/Clerk have signing authority regarding 153 Basin Depot Road Shore Road Allowance.
