Finance and Administration Committee Meeting

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Finance and Administration Committee Meeting Agenda for Tuesday, June 27, 2017 be approved as presented.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Finance and Administration Committee recommend that Council waive curbside pickup fees at 39 St. Francis Memorial Drive until such time as the premise is occupied.

THAT the Meeting recess at 10:53 a.m.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Finance and Administration Committee recommend that Council direct staff to proceed with implementing the electronic delivery of water/wastewater billings.

Finance and Administration Committee Meeting - June 27, 2017 RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Finance and Administration Committee recommend that Council direct staff to add to the schedule of fees a $2.00 charge for producing duplicate paper bills when residents are subscribed to e- billing.

THAT the Meeting enter In-Camera Session at 3:11 p.m. to discuss matters pertaining to "personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees"; Ontario Municipal Act, c.25, s.239 (2)(b). 1. THAT the Meeting return to Open Session at 4:23 p.m.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Finance and Administration Committee recommend Council accept the proposed draft job description for the Facility Manager position as amended; AND THAT staff is directed to immediately initiate an internal/external job recruitment for a Facility Manager based on the Township of Madawaska Valley's Human Resource Policy and Procedure.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Finance and Administration Committee recommend that Council approve any extra hours available from the Barry's Bay swim program instructors be utilized for clerical work at the Municipal Office.
