Fire and Protection Committee Meeting

THAT the Fire and Protection Committee Meeting for Monday December 11, 2017 be approved as presented.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Fire and Protection Committee recommend to Council to accept that Mayor Love shares the Calls for Service data with the Rural Mayors Forum of Eastern Ontario.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Fire and Protection Committee recommend to Council to proceed with the Automatic Aid Agreement with the Municipality of Hastings Highlands pending clarification with the Municipal Insurance Company regarding the liability section of the agreement.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Fire and Protection Committee recommend to Council to fix the furnace flange at the South Fire Hall for approximately $600.00 (similar to the North Fire Hall).

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Fire and Protection and Committee Meeting recommend to Council to rent three digital/analog radios, one for the Chief Fire Official, one for South Hall, one for North Hall for $50/month/radio for one year (2018).

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Fire and Protection Committee recommend to Council to accept D'Arcy Sheehan and Micheal Stuyt as a Volunteer Fire Fighters for the South Hall AND THAT they accept Jason Mask as a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the North Hall.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Meeting enter In-Camera Session at 2:36 p.m. to discuss matters pertaining to "personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees"; Ontario Municipal Act 2011, c.25, s.239 (2)(b). 1.
