Operations Committee Meeting

THAT the Operations Committee Meeting Agenda for Wednesday, December 7, 2016 be approved as amended.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to direct staff to provide comments to the Ministry of Natural Operations Committee Meeting - December 07, 2016 Resources and Forestry regarding the introduction of legislation to amend the Aggregate Resources Act.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to direct staff to develop a draft streetlight policy.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council that the signs that were identified in not meeting the reflectivity test be replaced as needed to comply with the minimum maintenance standards.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to place the Incident/Accident Reports (3) dated December 7, 2016 In- Camera at the next Finance and Administration Committee Meeting.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to change the classification of Nuthatch Road to 6A.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to change the classification of Skidder Trail to 6B.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to accept the proposed changes to By-Law 2005-51.

THAT the meeting recess at 11:02 a.m.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to move the 2017 - 5 Year Capital Roads Plan forward to preliminary draft budget.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to direct staff to send a letter to the County of Renfrew requesting that they address the conditions of Siberia Road (County Road #69) during winter storms as well as the conditions of the guardrails.
