Operations Committee Meeting

THAT the Operations Committee Meeting Agenda for Thursday, February 2, 2017 be approved as amended.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to accept the proposed names presented for Plan of Subdivision Application 47-T-16003 and Plan of Condominium Application 47-CD-16004 Little Bark Bay Properties Inc. as Little Bark Bay Drive and Bark Bay Trail and move the name changes to By-Law.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend that Council direct staff to send a letter to Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre questioning the increase of hauling rates.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to accept the capital projects (OPS2017-01 to OPS2017-10) presented and move to Finance and Administration Committee Budget Meeting for further discussion.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to accept the Waste Management/Disposal Services capital projects (WM2017-01 and 02)and move to Finance and Administration Committee Budget Meeting for further discussion.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council that the Private Roads Grant continue; AND THAT approximately $11,000 is budgeted towards the 2017 Private Road Grant funding program.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council that the amended draft streetlight policy is moved to By-Law.

THAT the Meeting recess at 10:41 a.m.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to approve a request for proposal (RFP) for the waste site consultant services for monitoring and annual reporting.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to proceed booking August 19, 2017 as the Townships Municipal Household Hazardous Waste Day AND THAT staff work at coordinating a Joint Municipal Household Hazardous Waste Day with the Townships of Hastings Highlands and/or Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to grant permission to Lakewoods Resort Developments, Inc. to proceed to install a gravel ramp boat launch on Block 37 of the Lakewoods Subdivsion (Municipal Property) at no charge to the Municipality, maintained by Lakewoods Resort Developments, Inc., until which time the Municipality reviews the entire subdivision road; AND THAT the proper permits are obtained; AND THAT Municipal staff are informed and included in the project.
