RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council to direct staff to write a letter to the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) in support of the position that the use of hand held two-way radio systems should be permanently allowed for all public work employees; AND THAT this position is also added to the comment section of the MTO - Two-Ray Radios website.
