THAT the Operations Committee Meeting Agenda for Thursday, March 8, 2018 be approved as presented.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommend to Council that the Municipality will exchange 2700 feet of shoreline road allowance on the Madawaska River for 2700 feet of Tamarack/Parcher Road (forced road) with Combermere Lodge Limited; AND THAT the remainder 1100 feet of shoreline road allowance will be purchased by Combermere Lodge Limited; AND THAT the survey costs for the shoreline road allowance will be paid by Combermere Lodge Limited; AND THAT the survey costs for the Tamarack/Parcher Road will be split equally between the Municipality and Combermere Lodge Limited; AND THAT each proponent will pay for the registration and legal costs for the land they are receiving.

RECOMMENDATION: THAT the Operations Committee recommended to Council that the speed limit on the Old Barry's Bay Road remains at 80km/h; AND THAT appropriate signage is placed as required on the corners in accordance with the Geometric Design Guide for Canadian Roads and the Geometric Design Standards for Ontario Highways (Ministry of Transportation).
