Special Council Meeting

THAT the Special Council Meeting Agenda for Wednesday, May 18, 2016 be approved as presented.

THAT Council include the Public Question Period with Item 12.1.

THAT Council extend the Public Question Period to 1/2 hour and that each question is limited to 1 minute.

THAT the Meeting recess at 8:36 p.m.

THAT Council approves operating the Visitor and Information Centre facility nine months of the year with staff working half their hours in the 3 winter months at another location.

THAT Council approve operating the Visitor and Information Centre as status quo using the 2016 budget, with staff to encouraged to find efficiencies and additional revenue streams for the 2017 budget.

THAT By-Law 2016-56 Being a By-Law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Madawaska Valley at a Special Council Meeting of May 18th, 2016 be given first and second reading this 18th day of May, 2016.

THAT By-Law 2016-56 Being a By-Law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Madawaska Valley at a Special Council Meeting of May 18th, 2016 be given third and final reading this 18th day of May, 2016.

THAT the Meeting adjourn at 10:45 p.m.
