Special Council Meeting

THAT the Special Council Meeting Agenda for Friday, February 17, 2017 be approved as presented.

THAT the Meeting enter In-Camera Session at 10:09 p.m. to discuss matters pertaining to "personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees"; "advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose", Ontario Municipal Act 2011, c.25, 2.239 (2)(b)(f). 1. Update on Ongoing Legal Proceedings.

THAT the Meeting return to Open Session at 12:37 p.m.

THAT the Mayor, with the departure of the CAO/Clerk and during the transition period, is directed to be the liaison between Ms. Kristin Eliot, Templemen Menninga, and the Township; AND THAT the Mayor is to provide Council with status updates and any new information as it may come known and available.

THAT the job description of the Acting Clerk (temporary) is accepted as presented, with the noted amendments.

Special Council Meeting - February 17, 2017 THAT By-Law 2017-16 Being a By-Law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Madawaska Valley at a Special Council Meeting of February 17, 2017 be given first and second reading this 17th day of February 2017.

THAT By-Law 2017-16 Being a By-Law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Madawaska Valley at a Special Council Meeting of February 17, 2017 be given third and final reading this 17th day of February 2017.

THAT the Meeting adjourn at 12:39 p.m.
