THAT the Township of Madawaska Valley has identified that transportation service to our area is limited and supports the following request from North Algona Wilberforce: The Township of North Algona Wilberforce requests that the province review transportation service routes in our area with Ontario Northland and recommend that they consider at the very least a two-day service a week from Pembroke along Highway41 and 60, through Eganville to Renfrewin place of Pembroke to Cobden to Renfrew along Highway17. Providing this service will help North Algona Wilberforce and the surrounding townships grow and bounce back after a long hard year of COVID-19 restrictions.
